Presentation Ceremony
The 2024 James Boswell Prizes will be presented in the Great Hall of London's Guildhall
on the evening of Wednesday, 1 October 2025.
Guildhall dates from the fifteenth century and is London’s oldest secular building.

Peers of the realm, an archbishop and even a queen, have been tried in Guildhall. In 1553, the sixteen-year-old Lady Jane Grey (Queen of England for just nine days) was found guilty of high treason and sentenced to death in the Great Hall.
Guildhall hosts many royal, national and international occasions, including HM The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations, state visits, and, since 1502, the annual Lord Mayor’s Banquet where the Prime Minister delivers a keynote foreign policy speech.
